It all started with a ride I’ll never forget — a little over 4,300 kilometers — a tour of the South of Pakistan, my longest journey yet on two wheels. The ride was nothing short of a culturally rich adventure — from crossing private game reserves in Rahim Yar Khan, to wandering through ancient Hindu temples in Dharki, and witnessing the Sukkur Barrage as it feeds the largest irrigation system in the world. Mohenjo-daro’s silent ruins, the vibrant shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, and the magnificent Ranikot Fort — also called the Great Wall of Sindh — left lasting impressions. We spent a night under the stars at Keenjhar Lake and paid homage to the Makli Necropolis after a mesmerizing ride through Jhampir’s wind power corridor. Further down, it felt like the world had changed — in Hingol National Park, where the sky and sea seemed to merge into one. I carried back a souvenir on my jacket: a handprint of a dear friend from the mud volcano that became a story of its own. Riding along the beaches of Ormara and Pasni, sliding motorcycles on the sand, and watching the sunset at Gwadar — those moments are etched into my bones. But adventure always comes with its tests, on the road from Mohenjo-daro to Sehwan, fatigue, darkness, a loud game of Antakshari, and a grave miscalculation led to a near-fatal accident. My bike and I spun across the road, panniers and crash bars sending up sparks before we came to a stop falling a few feet deep into the fields. It was comradery at its finest — my gang came through when I needed them the most. With only a few bruises here and there and minor damage to the bike, we were ready to ride on.
That night turned out to be the first unplanned test of the very first prototype of ATGATT motorcycle trousers — and they didn’t just survive, they protected me. The reinforced fabric became a shield between me and the road, saving me from what could have easily been deep abrasions or worse. In a country where access to reliable, international-standard riding apparel is scarce, I realized we needed gear built for our terrain, our roads, and our riders. That’s when the philosophy of “All The Gear All The Time” became more than just words. On a solo 18-hour ride back home, things started to become clear. I needed functional gear — designed for Pakistan, made in Pakistan. What began with four pairs of denim motorcycle trousers has grown into ATGATT: a brand committed to outdoor and adventure enthusiasts, whether on two wheels or two feet. Today, the journey continues. Each ride, each story from our community, and every product we release is fueled by our shared passion for the outdoors — and the belief that your gear should keep up with your adventures.
